Rental Terms

In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement prevails.
Eligibility Criteria
Renting a vehicle with us requires:
- To hire a vehicle in Canary Wharf, you must be at least 21 years old, though age restrictions can differ based on the vehicle type, with additional fees applicable for drivers under 25. A valid full driving licence relevant to the vehicle category is required, along with proof of identity and current address. Valid payment details and a security deposit are necessary, and any other requirements outlined in the Rental Agreement must be met.
3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be completed via our website, over the phone, or directly at our Canary Wharf office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The total payment and a security deposit are generally required at the time of vehicle collection. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment processors.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Canary Wharf, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage right away. A vehicle condition report will be generated and signed to document the vehicle's state. Please return the vehicle in the same condition as it was received, taking into account normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and may result in additional charges. The vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level noted at pickup; refueling fees will apply if it is returned with less fuel. Late returns could lead to extra charges, so please contact us if you anticipate a delay. You are accountable for any parking fines, traffic violations, or other charges incurred during your rental period, along with an administration fee.
Insurance and Liability Overview

You remain liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess, unless you opt for extra coverage. Any damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms will be your responsibility, regardless of insurance provisions.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice period provided. For precise information, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses of the vehicle:
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is prohibited. Engaging in racing, off-roading, or similar dangerous pursuits is not allowed. Transporting hazardous materials or substances is strictly forbidden. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized individuals to drive it is unacceptable. Operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purposes, and exceeding passenger or weight limits is not permitted. Driving outside of the designated geographical boundaries without prior consent is also not allowed.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire at Canary Wharf will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the rental amount you paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
9. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved within the jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.
